The link below is to Darkfall Online, an upcoming fantasy RPG. It seems to be very much like UO. Short summarization:This looks like a promising game, and as indicated, appears to be reminiscent of the early days of Ultima Online. I really like the racial system here. It gives each player a specific base of operations. At this stage and from what I can tell, the graphics give me a headache; I hope it's just the quality of the screen shots not how the actual game looks (though you'd expect they'd want to accurately portray their visuals). Though I have to tell everyone, I'm pretty gun shy any more when it comes to MMORGs. They're great for playing a game, but in terms of real RP, it's unlikely that I'd give it much of a shot. If I can approach the game in that light, it just might be worth getting.
-Open PvP.. everybody can attack everybody, like oldschool UO
-Skill based system with 300 to 500 skills and spells
-Player housing
-Player horses
-Player controlled ships
-Nice graphics (though a bit blurry?)
-Equipment plays a minor role, skills play a larger role
-Some twitchy skills will make your char better
-No supergrind (I think)
So.. check it out. Anybody heard of this before?

I have two Blogs currently both for D&D they are: Alterakadventure.Blogspot.com and DungeonsandDragons.Blogspot.com or something to that effect. The first is an adventure which works like this: I write accounts as DM and at the end of the last post of what happens in the adventure/story the players can leave a comment stating what theire character is doing or planning to do next (some character description would probably be handy). The second is basicly for my D&D doodles and stuff. The Alterak game is not for evil characters and actions and those may be deleted.
